The 2nd Intelligent Medicine and Rehabilitation Conference & The 5th Workshop on BCI 2020

From December 19 to 20, 2020, the 2nd Intelligent Medicine and Rehabilitation Conference & The 5th Workshop on Brain-computer Interface 2020 will be held in Junhao Hotel, Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. The conference was organized by China Society of Biomedical Engineering and China Society of electronics, and sponsored by school of information science and engineering of East China University of science and technology, School of artificial intelligence of Xi'an Jiaotong University, engineering research center of Ministry of education of intelligent medical engineering, and Shanghai brain science and brain like Research Center. More than 350 people from more than 40 universities and nearly 20 enterprises, including brain intelligence excellence innovation center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, National Defense University of the people's Liberation Army, Tianjin University, South China University of technology, University of electronic science and technology, Southeast University, Bioreco Sciences Limited, attended the meeting.

At the opening ceremony, Wan Suiren, vice president of China Society of Biomedical Engineering, and Du Wenli, Dean of School of information, East China University of science and technology, delivered speeches respectively. At the meeting, Wan Suiren expressed warm congratulations on the opening of the conference. He pointed out that the Chinese society of biomedical engineering has made outstanding contributions to the prosperity of Biomedical Engineering in China and the development of Biomedical Engineering in China. It is hoped that through the in-depth discussion, speculation and exchange of experts in various fields of Biomedical Engineering, it will play a positive leading role in promoting the development of biomedical engineering research, education and personnel training in China, and provide strong support and feasible solutions for promoting the development of national health. Du Wenli introduced the relevant information of School of information science and engineering of East China University of science and technology. She pointed out that the interdisciplinary research of artificial intelligence, medicine and brain science is a feature of the direction of artificial intelligence in the Institute of information technology, and hopes to further promote the exchange of research on brain computer interface technology and rehabilitation technology in China through this conference. The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Professor Jin Jing, director of the Department of automation, School of information, East China University of science and technology and chairman of the conference.

Pu Muming, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, was invited to attend the meeting and gave a report. The report introduced the role of brain computer interface technology in the regulation of brain nerves. At the same time, more than 50 experts from Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, national defense science and Technology University of the people's Liberation Army, Zhejiang University, South China University of technology, Tianjin University and Naval Medical University were invited to give academic reports on the theme of smart medicine and rehabilitation in a combination of online and offline ways. There are ten parallel forums in this conference. The report of the forum deeply discusses the combination of artificial intelligence technology and medical rehabilitation, and encourages and promotes exchanges and cooperation in multi scientific and multi professional fields.

The purpose of this conference is to promote the exchange of domestic intelligent medical and rehabilitation direction, and promote the application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of medical and rehabilitation. This conference focuses on the application frontier and hot spots of modern artificial intelligence technology, carries out academic exchanges, encourages and promotes exchanges and cooperation in multi-disciplinary and multi professional fields, and makes positive contributions to creating a better future for human society.
